Our workshop is rue Viala, a stone's throw from Bir-Hakeim metro. Coming to the 15th arrondissement, we're literally home. To get the full picture of how we work, have a look at our main electrical troubleshooting page.
The 15th is our neighbourhood
The 15th is our patch — we know every corner, every shortcut, the good bakeries and (more importantly) the best hardware shops.
If you're a private customer with an emergency, an electrical issue, a power cut, and you live nearby, you're doubly in the right place. We should be able to step in quickly — especially in the evening, when you suddenly notice there's a repair to do.
Our intervention zone across the arrondissement
Our headquarters is rue Viala, near the elevated metro and the Seine, in the Bir-Hakeim area, but we easily cover Vaugirard, Javel, Convention, Beaugrenelle, Saint-Lambert, Montparnasse, Sèvres-Lecourbe, or even on foot to La Motte-Picquet Grenelle.
Also for businesses in the 15th
If you're a business, here's the thing: we've been based in the area for 5 years, with loyal commercial customers who call us regularly for shop windows, code compliance on their premises, optimising their energy consumption or simply troubleshooting.
Knowing the local buildings
The 15th is our playground, our giant sandbox. People tend to forget but electricians only spend about 20% of their time on the copper itself — most of the rest goes into drilling holes and filling them back in. The materials we actually work with the most are the breeze block of your walls, the vibrated concrete of the Beaugrenelle towers, and the cut stone of Haussmann-era buildings.
After a few years of experience, we know where to look for faults. We have a slightly better idea of what the original electrician was trying to do.
Classic faults in Parisian buildings
Getting a small shock while emptying the dishwasher? Perfectly normal — back in the day, the earth was wired to the water pipes. Then when the meters were swapped, your earth got disconnected.
Your water heater trips the whole installation? You're probably missing a residual-current device. They were really enforced from 2002 onwards — plenty of Paris flats still don't have one, even though it's what protects you from electrocution. No big deal.
By the way, if your water heater is what's tripping the device, you probably need to replace the water heater. Sorry to break the news. If you're not sure the water heater is the only circuit on that breaker, call us, we'll run the diagnostic.
Still have old-style fuses on your panel? Classic source of faults — most homeowners can't test fuses any more. Translation: it's dated. If you're not sure, call us.
How to reach us
After your call, or a message on the answering machine, by SMS or WhatsApp, we get back to you very quickly in French or English to arrange a slot.
For people living in the 15th, the intervention window is very short. Sometimes the only delay is picking up parts — a socket, a switch — based on a photo you've sent us, or grabbing a stepladder from our workshop so we can dismantle that flickering light that never quite turns off.
Don't hesitate to leave a message on the answering machine — it's a bit old school but it works very well.
Quality, reviews and workshop
We hope we've convinced you of our care, our seriousness, and our genuine passion for electrical work. If you still have any energy left, you can check that we deliver quality work via the customer reviews on our Google page.
We're based rue Viala but we don't have a shop. You can't drop off your lamps hoping we'll fix them. Unfortunately, we're always on-site, so it's hard for us to staff a permanent workshop for that kind of repair. Beyond the Bazar de l'Électricité near Bastille, we don't have a workshop to recommend. If you know a good address, let us know and we'll add it to this page.
Our services in the 15th arrondissement
Beyond urgent troubleshooting, we cover the full range of electrical work in the area, for individuals and businesses. Rates and pricing are the same across the whole 15th: no geographic markup, and a detailed quote sent within a week of every visit.
For private customers, we work on all types of installations: replacing a tired switch, adding sockets, fully renovating an outdated panel, code compliance before a sale, checking the wiring after plumbing or gas work (those two often pass right next to each other near Necker or Saint-Charles).
For local businesses and artisans in the 15th (medical practices, food shops, agencies, workshops), our services cover ERP code compliance, pre-renovation diagnostics, optimisation of consumption and the EDF subscription, and regular upkeep. A few minutes on the phone is usually enough to gather the information needed to estimate the intervention and book the visit.
Our work is that of a local professional artisan, not an anonymous subcontractor dropping in between two sites at the other end of Paris. That proximity changes everything in the follow-up: we know the local buildings, we know the constraints of the syndic, and when we need to come back for a small detail we come back without billing a call-out.
Other neighbourhoods we cover around the 15th
If you live just next to the 15th, we also work regularly in the 7th arrondissement, across the Champ de Mars. For the other surrounding arrondissements and towns, we also handle electrical troubleshooting and installation in the 8th arrondissement — around the Madeleine, the Champs-Élysées or Saint-Lazare — as well as work as your electrician in the 16th arrondissement, just across the Seine, any electrical troubleshooting in the 17th arrondissement, Boulogne-Billancourt, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Malakoff and Vanves.
For a larger project — full renovation, ERP code compliance, custom quote — get in touch via our contact page or take a look at our pricing for a sense of the ballpark.
